Amazing Trucking & Logistics, is a local and regional transportation and logistics company established in 2008. We have multiple terminals in the Midwest and South, with a solid driver and customer base. Our driver turnover ratio is less than 10%, meaning that 9 out of 10 drivers stay with us after 12 months.
At this time, we have three immediate openings for our Detroit local operation. These are full time, W2 positions, with full benefits.
As a local intermodal driver, you will be shuttling containers from Detroit ramps to our customers in Detroit. You will also move containers back and forth from our yard to various customers of ours in the Detroit area.
Position Benefits:
Starting Pay: $25.00/hr
Benefits: Full benefit package, including health, vision, dental and 401k with company match
Holiday Pay: Yes, all Federal Holidays are paid
Vacation Pay: 1 week paid vacation per year after the first 12 months with Amazing
Requirements:
Both positions pay hourly. Pay is commensurate with experience and safety record, but the minimum is $26.00/hr. Second/Third shift starts at $30.00/hr.
In this position, you will shuttle loaded and empty containers from various ramps (primarily Global 4, Global 2, Global 1) to our Chicago yards (primarily Ford Heights). You will be responsible to ensure that all loads outgated from the ramps are in roadworthy, safe and legal condition.
